About Day of Caring-

Day of Caring is a community-wide day of hands-on volunteering in which United Way connects volunteers from local businesses and community groups with local non-profit organizations to work on various one time projects that would not otherwise be completed. Day of Caring empowers people to work together to address some of the most pressing needs facing our community.

Day of Caring . . .

   Demonstrates that volunteer efforts are vital to the well-being of our community.

   Provides volunteers with a firsthand look at services provided by local nonprofit agencies.

   Showcases our communities' volunteer efforts and promotes the spirit throughout the year.

   Provides many local agencies with much needed volunteer assistance.
